Current holders of Canadian domain names (.ca) may have been targeted in a phishing scam. These emails appear to be from the Canadian Registry (CIRA) and state that domains are up for renewal and ask you to click a link and enter credit card information. These emails were not sent by CIRA, and CIRA will never ask for credit card information.
If you receive one of these emails, delete it immediately. If you have already received one of these emails and have entered your credit card information, contact your bank. Please note that if any of your domains are up for renewal, your CSC Customer Service Specialist will contact you directly.
