The Registry for Vietnam, VNNIC, recently announced that beginning January 10, 2011 they will allow the registration of one and two character domain names for third-level domains. The following extensions are affected:
• .COM.VN
• .BIZ.VN
• .GOV.VN
• .NET.VN
• .ORG.VN
• .PRO.VN
• .INFO.VN
• .NAME.VN
Registration will begin on January 10, 2011. Please keep in mind that only third-level extensions are eligible for one and two character domain names.
