Madrid and Zuerich Hope To Be Summer Destinations
Two new geographic TLDs plan to launch this summer, .madrid and .zuerich. The first to launch will be .madrid, which begins its Sunrise phase on July 16, 2019, and runs through October 3rd, 2019. This phase will not be first come, first served. Several Limited Registration phases aimed towards local entities and local trademark holders will run concurrently prior to General Availability opening on October 19, 2019.
The Sunrise phase for .zuerich begins on July 22, 2019, and ends on September 23, 2019. Like .madrid, this phase will not be first come, first served. A Limited Registration Period will begin prior to the end of the Sunrise phase on August 19th and will also run through September 23, 2019, before the TLD moves to General Availability on October 14, 2019.
